100 Warrior Cats Challenge

I'm currently doing a 100 Warrior Cats Challenge on DeviantART (http://niftyapplestar.deviantart.com/journal/100-Themes-Warrior-Cats-Challenge-231971084). The goal is to draw a hundred characters from the book series, Warriors by Erin Hunter. I only did three cats yet, Firestar, Bluestar and Tallstar. I wonder if I'll be able to complete the challenge. I'm a real slacker and it takes at least 1 hour for me to finish one cat. I'll probably give up around the 20th cat. Still, doesn't hurt to try it out. I'm so bored these days.

Hi! Again, I haven't posted for a long time. Sorry about that. :P


Anyway, I created a Deviantart account one week ago. For those who don't know what Deviantart is, it is a site where you can create an account to post and share your art with others. You can post almost any kind of art there. Drawings, videos, games, photography, etc. Go check it out. It's awesome.

Yep, that's deviantart speak). Two deviants (deviant = member of deviantart) did add one of my deviations, a digital drawing of a weird cat to their Favourites.

Amberpaw is another of my fan-made Warrior Cats character. I quite like this drawing, even though I am not in the least satisfied with her tail and her hairstyle. And her paws, which are probably the worst paws I've ever drawn. Her colouring is also a bit strange too. She was meant to be a dark reddish-brown tabby. (This time I added text to the picture, btw)


Much thanks to those two kindhearted deviants. Looks like I don't draw like crap after all. :P

I even created my own version of this meme. I'll post it later. It's quite similar to this one so I'm worried that the creator of the original would be enraged at me for copying her idea. But I always worry too much.


Oh yeah. I'm also currently obsessed with an animator/artist on Youtube. Her username is Flightfootwarrior or XxflightfeathersxX, though she is more commonly known as just Flighty. She is totally AWESUM.

Flighty's animation are so well done and her art is really good. She has a couple of animation series on Youtube but very sadly she hasn't finished any of them :(. Flighty makes brilliant AMVs too. This one about Ashfur really touched me:

I used to hate Ashfur (He's a character in the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter) but after watching this video, I actually changed my mind about him. Now I think he is a misunderstood cat and he has entered the list of my favourite Warrior Cats characters. LOL, I know this sounds like I'm "propaganda-dising" Flighty but it's really how I feel about her aweshum work. 

Note: Some of Flighty's videos and art are a bit bloody and gory but who cares, I like bloody stuff. 

Last but not least, MSI (Mindless Self-Indulgence) rocks! They are officially my favourite band. And one of my new obsessions (yeah, I have a lot of those).
